What a beautiful film from Guadagnino about desire, and at the same time, heavy. A film that beautifully captures a story rich in mysterious sensuality about bodies and touch.
Queer shows an extraordinary grasp of how sexuality can be so powerful through sound design and magical depiction
I' I’m glad I watched this film, but it’s not for everyone, especially those who don’t want to embrace all the narrative curveballs. Despite the mysterious ending and some of the violence being exaggerated with sex scenes, Guadagnino is one of the few greats who works without abandoning the lust of his stories as a device, and it’s beautiful.
The art direction and cinematography are excellent, with beautiful visual compositions and great acting
A fundamental part of human experience and humanity that cannot be omitted from stories due to public indifference, Queer challenges you. Daniel Craig can break your heart with very little, and Queer seems to be just another stage in this new journey from someone who wants to be more than Knives Out of the iconic 007.
