Kung fu prodigy Li Fong was uprooted from his home in Beijing and forced to move to New York City. When a friend needed his help, Lee entered a karate competition. Lee’s teacher, Mr. Han, recruited original karateka Daniel LaRusso to help him. On November 21, 2023, Sony released a video featuring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan announcing that the two were returning for a new film, as well as announcing a worldwide casting call for a new Karate Boy. He appeared in the crazy cartoon cast of AniMat: Part of Halle’s World (2022)
